Bob is one of the finest blacksmiths in the country. ANVIL: Bob, where are you from originally? BOB: I grew up in Ohio, but I was born in Baltimore, Maryland. I now reside in Arkansas. ANVIL: How did you get started in blacksmithing? BOB: My father wouldn't let us have commercial hunting knives, but if we made them it was okay. So we did the best we could. My uncles and granddad had done some blacksmithing over the years, so they told us what they knew. We beat stuff out and took a hole in the ground and charcoal and built a fire in the hole in the ground. And that's how we got started. ANVIL: Where did you go to school? <End of Abstract>
